Meet Our Founder: Kate Leydon

Hello, my name is Kate Leydon, and I was born an empath with strong intuitive abilities for reading other people’s energy.

Burning Out in Beauty

After going to school for fashion, I travelled in the professional beauty industry for twelve years — and crashed and burned physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually from ignoring my own inner voice.

I took a year off to begin my healing process, and had an intuitive vision: to marry my love for inner wellness with fashion and beauty by creating a modern space where people could heal from the inside out. A space to explore the essence of who you really are beneath the layers, titles, and impressions given to you by others.

A year later, Ruby Room was born.

What Drives the Work

My passion is helping people create their own style of wellness through intuitive products and services. I love the process of self-discovery — using ancient practices and marrying them with our own third eye skills.

Beyond the Studio

When I’m not sourcing unique items for the store, I can be found captaining boats and exploring nature with my girls.

I offer Intuitive Business Coaching for entrepreneurs, to bring focus and intention to their brand. I also offer on-site home and office clearing services, using a variety of healing tools to create harmony and balance in your space and your life.
