These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Ruby Room's website (www.rubyroom.com), services, shop, memberships, events, and classes. By booking an appointment, making a purchase, or using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Use of Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the website in any way that violates applicable laws, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with our services.
2. Booking & Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability and may be booked via Workee or Vagaro. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. A credit card may be required to hold your appointment.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time via Vagaro or by calling (773) 235-2323 and leaving a voicemail. If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior, you will be charged the full appointment fee.
In order to maximize practitioner booking schedules, all appointments may be moved via Vagaro within 15-30 minutes of the scheduled appointment time. You will be notified via email and/or text if your appointment time changes.
Classes must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance for a refund.
4. Late Arrivals
Out of respect for your practitioner and other clients, late arrivals may result in a shortened session. The full service fee will still apply.
5. Payment
We do not accept cash for products or services. Payment is due at time of service or purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed. Vagaro daily deals do not apply to appointments made over the phone or memberships.
6. Gratuity
20% gratuity is added to all Zoom appointments. Gratuities may be added to all in-person services by credit card or paid directly to your practitioner via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
7. Wellness Memberships
Ruby Room wellness memberships are monthly plans starting at 1/month for a 45, 60, or 90-minute session. Memberships include:
- 10% off all services and products year-round
- Session credit rollover
- Ability to gift sessions up to three times per year
- No long-term commitment — cancel anytime
Membership fees are charged monthly. To cancel, contact us at concierge@rubyroom.com or (773) 235-2323 before the next billing cycle.
8. Private Events & Classes
Private event and party bookings are subject to a separate agreement and deposit. Classes must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance for a refund. Private events may have separate cancellation terms communicated at booking.
9. Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for purchase online and in studio. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards do not expire.
10. Shop Purchases & Returns
All shop purchases are subject to our published return and refund policy. Products must be returned in original, unused condition within the return window stated at time of purchase. Digital products and gift cards are non-refundable. Shipping terms are governed by our published shipping policy.
11. SMS Messaging Terms
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Ruby Room, you agree to the following:
- You authorize Ruby Room to send you text messages using an automated system
- Informational messages (confirmations, reminders, membership updates) require consent via a required checkbox at booking
- Marketing messages (promotions, new services, events, shop launches) require separate, optional consent via an unchecked checkbox
- Consent is not a condition of purchase or receiving services
- Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help

SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number is used solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
12. Wellness Disclaimer
Ruby Room services including energy healing, tarot readings, intuitive massage, and chakra work are offered as wellness and spiritual services and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice. By booking a service, you acknowledge this disclaimer.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and marketing materials, including text, images, service names (Enerssage®, Chakrassage®, Intuitive Blend®, THE STYLE OF WELLNESS®), and branding, is the property of Ruby Room and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
Ruby Room is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, services, or products. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service or product in question.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
